I had an issue with tire wear and alignment on a BMW. I purchased new tires and went to Ripleys to get an alignment based on the recommendation by the tire dealer. Ripley's did an alignment and found that the alignment was not the reason for the tire wear. I returned to the tire dealer and told them that Ripley's did the alignment and the manager said if Ripley's did it then it is right. The dealer refunded 30% of the purchase price based on the alignment report. It was a wear credit based on defective tires.
